Want to find out what keywords represent your blog? Well here is a free online tool for doing just that.
Keyword density is important because search engines use this information to categorize a site's theme, and to determine which terms the site is relevant to. The perfect keyword density will help achieve higher search engine positions. Keyword density needs to be balanced correctly (too low and you will not get the optimum benefit, too high and your page might get flagged for “keyword spamming”).
The keyword density tool is useful for helping webmasters and SEOs achieve their optimum keyword density for a set of key terms. Use the keyword density analyzer to determine the optimum keyword density for your web site's keywords.
Just follow the step by step guide below to perform a keyword density analysis on your blog site;
- Visit this page
- Enter the complete URL of the page you want to analyze (don't forget to include "http://" at the beginning of the URL)
- In the next text box you'll see some words to ignore while analyzing the page for keywords. These are words that are not important for keyword analysis. If you feel you need to add some more words, type them in the text box (separate each word with a space).
- Enter the minimum and maximum character length to be ignored in the next 2 text boxes. This will further filter out irrelevant keywords.
- Hit "Analyze" button (or reset button if you are willing to do all the typing again)
- The Keyword Density Analyzer will read the page you specify and give a report what words are used and how many times they are used. Report will be presented in a three column table with these heads (arranged in descending order); word, repeats and density.
- You'll also find the total number of unique words and total number of words found at the specified URL.
Have a nice day!
